I don't mean to be contentious but I am confused about some things the author is saying. First he says:

The period we shall be reviewing is 1700- 1813.
Then he mentions Albert Pike as having affected the ritual during that time. Since he would have been just four years old at the end of that period I must be thinking of some other Pike or I must have failed to follow the logic of the article. I would appreciate it if some brother could enlighten me.

Thanks Quite correct I boobed
Too many notes in correlating a paper; If I am correct it should read Dermott.
I shall double check and arrange for appropriate corrections
However the incorrect name should not detract from the premise of my paper
